When ordering MagicBands that are associated with a Disney Resort Hotel stay, Guests have the option to customize their MagicBand with a name. These MagicBands are linked to each Guests' profile, so it important to know which band is linked to which person, as a MagicBand cannot be reassigned to another Guest once it has been linked.
When purchasing a retail MagicBand in a merchandise location or online through shopDisney, personalization is not available. You will need to link your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account by using the code printed on the inside of the band.
